Nestled in the heart of Colorado, YMCA of the Rockies was the perfect getaway for my recent romantic escape with my partner. The stunning mountain views from our soundproof room were breathtaking, allowing us to easily sink into the serene atmosphere after our road trip from Denver. We loved how the property offered a plethora of indoor and outdoor activities; we even took a refreshing dip in the heated indoor pool, which was a delightful surprise! Breakfast was a buffet dream, featuring options for everyone, and we savored every moment of our meals in the cozy dining hall. Watching families enjoy their time on the sledding hill and the playground reminded me of my childhood adventures back in Italy—such a beautiful blend of Americana charm! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature together, this will never disappoint. I can definitely see us returning for a longer stay—there's so much to explore!
